Why we exist
What happened in 2019.
2019
I sold my first car and needed to ship it from Miami to New York. At the time I already owned trucks, had drivers on the road, and was driving myself. I thought I understood transportation.
I Googled around, found a broker, booked a carrier. The carrier had no insurance. They got into an accident. My car was totaled. The broker disappeared. Nobody covered anything. I filed on my own insurance and paid out of pocket.
First I was angry. Then I was embarrassed — because I was already in this industry and still got played by a broker who did not do the one job he was supposed to do: check that the carrier was legitimate.
I spent the next few years learning how car transport actually works from the inside. What separates a real carrier from a ghost. What a broker's actual job is supposed to be. In 2024 we launched QLT Nexus and 929 Shipcar with one focus: doing this the right way for people who did not know the industry the way I did not in 2019.

How we operate
We verify every carrier because we know what happens when someone doesn't.
We are not a call center. We are not a lead-generation platform pretending to be a broker. We are a small team that confirms insurance, checks active authority, and verifies compliance on every carrier before your vehicle moves. Not because it is a selling point — because we know exactly what it costs when someone skips that step.
We also operate our own assets. That means we understand how the carrier side works, what drivers deal with, and what actually happens to your car between pickup and delivery. Most brokers have never driven a truck. We have.
We focus on the consumer market, real people shipping their own vehicles, not dealer volume. These are the customers who have the least protection and the least understanding of what can go wrong. They are exactly who this company was built for.

Dan started in trucking in 2018 hauling produce across the southeast. After getting burned on a car shipment in 2019 he spent years learning the auto transport side of the industry before launching QLT Nexus. He handles sales, pricing, and every customer relationship personally.

Marko brings years of logistics experience and a straightforward approach to matching customers with the right carrier for their route. He manages a significant portion of our active shipments and is the person most of our repeat customers ask for by name.
